I’m Finally Sick of This 9 to 5 Crap

If I were to look at my finances, I would have a  total of -$7499 in student debt. Thank god I haven’t spent it all yet and I still have cash. I won’t be bumming around just  yet.

You might even think that’s chump change, and you’re probably right. My girlfriend graduated with -$40,000 in student debt! And if you’re a doctor, you’ll graduate with -$250,000 in student debt… at least!

Anyways, I’m working a job. I’m trading my hours for dollars. That’s my life right now.

But I need to make some more money badly, and not through traditional means…

Escaping The Madness

So something has been gnawing away at me inside, and I’ll call this a deep-unrelenting-unhappiness with working a JOB. Surprise, I hate jobs, they suck. I’ve spent way too many hours typing away at a cubicle, submitting resumes to a dozen companies, kissing asses in interviews, and just plain ol’ working the grind. It’s a rat race, and no one wins in the end.

But… let’s say that you actually don’t mind working a job. Maybe you’re working in an industry you actually love! Congrats to you, but wake up and smell the roses. You’re still working for someone else. At least half of your effort is going directly to your boss, his boss, and his boss’s boss. You’re living to accommodate other people’s needs.

Now what about you? You’re the first one to get laid off in any recession, just look at our current economy. Executives and CEO’s have golden parachutes, and even if they didn’t, they’ve been making incredible money off of the sweat of our backs to be more than financially comfortable.

The Ultimate Alternative

It’s time to work for ourselves. It’s time for us to get 100% of the effort we expel. It’s time to be financially free and really live the lifestyle we want. Make our work accommodate to our schedule and needs, not the other way around… not ever again.

How? Internet marketing is the answer folks. As a newb (and I still am one!), it can be a big scary word. Words like “scam,”  “too technical,” or “fairy-tale,” might pop up for you when you hear people talk about it. It did for me too, and it’s not far from the truth.

Alone In A Big Ocean

As I learn how to build websites, utilize search engine optimization, and market websites, I stumble into a feeling that I’m sure you’re familiar with. It’s that feeling as if you’re alone in a big ocean… an overwhelming feeling of being lost and helpless at times.

The success rate of people trying to succeed at making money online is incredibly low. It’s no different from any other industry with low barriers to entry. Think of people who try to succeed at an acting career or sports. It definitely takes a level of commitment, perseverance, and burning desire to get even some success.

Time To Get To Work

There are millions of people who do succeed at making money online, despite how challenging internet marketing can be. Internet marketing doesn’t have tot be scary. But it will be challenging. This blog is a about that challenge. I’m taking on that challenge, and I want to inspire you to join me along the way. I have absolutely zero internet marketing, web design, and making money online experience. This is ground zero for me too. This website is about breaking through ground zero. It’s time to make that first dollar.

In my next post (it’s going to be a big one), I’ll bring you all up to date with everything I’ve learned since I tinkering with this stuff.

I’d appreciate your feedback and even more if you share your experiences.

You are right, 9 to 5 jobs are really boring, we need something different. I like to be my own boss. If done properly Internet Marketing can help you make more money than traditional 9 to 5 jobs. Work hard, Think smart and you will surely get success.

Wishing you all the best for your journey from zero to hero :)
